A big grey wolf was hiding behind a tree.
He was watching little Red Hood.
He walked out quietly.
He greeted little Red Hood.
"Good day,little girl!
What are you doing?"
"Oh! Good day, sir.
I’m picking some flowers for Grandmother.
She’s sick."
Little Red Hood spoke to a stranger!
"Oh, how nice you are!" said the wolf,
"Where does Grandmother live?"
Little Red Hood said,
"Oh, just on the side of the woods."
The wolf thought,
"I will eat the girl and her grandmother."
He said to little Red Hood,
"There are some lovelier flowers over there.
Go and pick some for Grandmother."
"Oh, thank you," said Little Red Hood.
She took the basket.
She went to pick those flowers.
The wolf ran to Grandmother's house.
Knock, knock, knock.
The wolf knocked at the door.
"Who’s there? Cough. Cough." said Grandmother.
"It's me! Little Red Hood!"

"Oh, Little Red Hood.
Just open the door and come in."
said Grandmother.
The wolf came in.
The wolf jumped onto the bed.

Then he put on Grandmother's clothes.
He waited for little Red Hood in bed.

"Who’s there?" the wolf asked.
"It's me,little Red Hood." little Red Hood answered.
"Little Red Hood, how nice to see you.
Just open the door and come in, my dear."

Little Red Hood came in.
Oh!
Grandmother looked terrible.
"Grandmother," said Little Red Hood,
"What big eyes you have!"
"Oh! I have big eyes to see you with, my dear.
Come a little closer."
said the wolf in Grandmother's voice.
"Grandmother, what big ears you have!"
"I have big ears to hear you with, my dear.
Come a little closer."
said the wolf in Grandmother's voice.
"Grandmother, what big teeth you have!"
"I have big teeth to eat you with!"
said the wolf in his own voice.

The wolf ate little Red Hood up.
The wolf was full.
The wolf was full of Grandmother and little Red Hood.
The wolf went to sleep.
SNORE!!!! SNORE!!!
The wolf was snoring.
He made a terrible noise.
The noise was very loud.
A hunter was passing by.
The hunter heard the terrible noise.
He opened the door and came in.
He saw the wolf sleeping in Grandmother’s bed.
He pulled out his knife.
He cut open the wolf’s stomach.
He pulled out Grandmother.
And then he pulled out Little Red Hood.
They came out whole.
The wolf had been so hungry.
He had eaten them whole.
Little Red Hood, Grandmother and the hunter sat down at the table.
They had some soup and cookies.
Grandmother loved the flowers very much.
little Red Hood kissed Grandmother good-bye.
Then she walked quickly home.
She did not stay on the way.
